Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 22, 2026
innew (“innew”, “we”, “us”) is a software and AI engineering studio based in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it — whether you’re visiting innew.dev, using one of our own products (Snapwit, UnfoldInvite, LeadIntent), or working with us as a client.
If anything here is unclear, email us at info@innew.dev and we’ll explain it in plain language, not policy language.
1. Scope
This policy covers three things, and we’ve tried to keep them distinct:
- The innew.dev website — contact forms, the newsletter signup, and basic site analytics.
- Our own products — Snapwit, UnfoldInvite and LeadIntent — where we act as the data controller for account and usage data.
- Client engagements — where a client’s own business data or source code passes through our hands, and we act as a data processor on that client’s instructions, not as the controller.
2. Information we collect
- Contact details you give us directly — name, email, company, and whatever you tell us on a call or in the booking form.
- Product account data for Snapwit, UnfoldInvite and LeadIntent — email, authentication details, subscription status, and the content you create inside those products.
- Site usage data — pages visited, referrer, device and browser type, collected through standard analytics tooling.
- Client project data — source code, credentials, and business data shared with us for the purpose of building or running a client’s software.
3. Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies and analytics scripts to understand which pages get read and where visitors come from. We don’t sell this data, and we don’t use it to build ad profiles. You can block cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work, though the newsletter signup may not remember that you’ve already subscribed.
4. How we use information
- To reply to enquiries and run scheduled calls.
- To operate, secure and improve Snapwit, UnfoldInvite and LeadIntent for their users.
- To build, deploy and maintain software under a client engagement, per that client’s instructions.
- To send the monthly newsletter, only to people who asked for it, with an unsubscribe link on every send.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
5. Who we share it with
We don’t sell personal data. We do use a small set of infrastructure and service providers who process data on our behalf, under their own security commitments — including Cloudflare (hosting and security), PostgreSQL-based database providers, Stripe (payments), and Anthropic and OpenAI (AI features inside our products and, where a client’s project uses them, inside client products). We share only what each provider needs to do its job.
6. Client project data
When we build or run software for a client, that client owns their code and their business data — we don’t use it to train models, we don’t reuse it for another client, and we don’t share it beyond the sub-processors needed to deliver the work, without that client’s agreement.
7. Your rights under GDPR (EU / UK visitors and clients)
If you’re in the EU or UK, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data, or ask us to complete incomplete data.
- Ask us to delete your data, where we don’t have a legal reason to keep it.
- Receive a portable copy of your data.
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing.
To exercise any of these, email info@innew.dev. We’ll respond within one month.
8. Your rights under India’s DPDP Act, 2023
As a Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 “Data Fiduciary” for data collected through innew.dev and our own products, we process personal data only for the purposes stated above, with your consent where required. As a Data Principal, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and may withdraw consent at any time. Requests and grievances can be sent to info@innew.dev, which also serves as our grievance contact under the Act.
9. Data retention and security
We keep data only as long as it’s needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law — typically for the life of an active account or engagement, plus a limited period after for accounting and legal records. We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers to protect data, but no system is completely immune to compromise, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
10. Children’s privacy
Our website and products are directed at businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we’ll remove it.
11. Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page if what we collect or how we use it changes, and update the date at the top. We won’t narrow your rights without saying so clearly.
